SRG Hospitality seeks a passionate Pizza Chef (Chef de Partie) to lead the pizza section in our busy Sydney kitchens. You will own your station, manage dough and oven operations, and mentor junior team members to maintain the high standards that define SRG.

Ideal candidates will have a trade qualification in Commercial Cookery or equivalent, pizza-focused experience, and the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays. Full working rights in Australia are required.

Qualifikationen

• Experience running a pizza section in a busy restaurant.
• Solid dough knowledge and confident oven operation during peak service.
• Trade qualification (Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery) or equivalent experience.
• Good communication, strong work ethic, and composure under pressure.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Full working rights in Australia.

Aufgaben

• Section ownership — Run the pizza section during lunch and dinner services with confidence and consistency.
• Dough management — Oversee dough production, proofing, and mise en place.
• Quality control — Maintain high quality and presentation on every pizza.
• Kitchen operations — Keep section clean, organized and compliant with food safety; assist with ordering and stock rotation.
• Team leadership & mentoring — Train and support commis and junior team members on your section.
• Cross-functional teamwork — Collaborate with the pass, floor, Head Chef and Sous Chef.
