Job summary

Pearl Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced pick/packer for a prominent Central Queensland wholesale supplier in Rockhampton. Role is Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM, offering $33.25–$34.40 per hour plus super.

Forklift ticket and warehousing experience are preferred. You will pick and pack orders, verify items for damage or shortages, attach shipping labels and invoices, and operate pallet jacks or a forklift safely.

Qualifications

• Previous warehousing experience.
• Forklift license preferred.
• Strong organisation and initiative.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Able to pass medical and drug/alcohol screen.

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders and check items for damage.
• Attach shipping labels, weight tags and invoices to dispatch.
• Safely operate pallet jacks or a forklift.
• Keep packing stations clean and organised.

Job description

Our client is a prominent trade and wholesale provider for industrial, engineering, and workplace safety supplies across the Central Queensland region. They are looking for an experienced pick/packer to join their team in Rockhampton preferably with a forklift ticket.

Picker/Packer – Kawana, Rockhampton

Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 4 PM

$33.25 – 34.40/hr + Super

What will this position involve?

This position will see you picking and packing orders, checking items for damage, defects, or incorrect quantities before packing, keeping packing stations clean, safely operating equipment like pallet jacks or a forklift and attaching shipping labels, weight tags, and invoices to completed package dispatch.

How to succeed in this role

• (BONUS) Have a forklift license.
• Previous warehousing experience.
• Great organisation skills with the ability to use initiative and think ahead.
• Interpersonal skills along with excellent written and verbal communications.
• Approachable personality with the desire to develop new skills.
