Job summary

Haynes People is currently seeking an experienced Storeperson to join our valued client in Rockhampton. This casual ongoing role offers hands-on warehouse work including picking and packing, receiving deliveries and operating forklifts.

You will be part of a professional team in a safety‑minded environment, with opportunities for ongoing employment for the right candidate. A forklift licence and drivers licence are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Current LF Forklift Licence (mandatory).
• Current Driver's Licence and personal vehicle.
• Previous warehouse or distribution experience.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical (including drug & alcohol test).
• Strong attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing parts orders accurately.
• Receiving deliveries and re-stocking shelves.
• Operating forklifts (load/unload trucks and relocate stock around the warehouse).
• Operate RF scanners.
• Stocktaking and general warehouse upkeep.
• Manual handling and following site safety procedures.

• Location: South Rockhampton
• Roster: Monday to Friday
• Hours: Rotating roster between dayshift and afternoon shift
• Type: Casual ongoing work with potential for permanent employment
