Rum City Foods is seeking reliable and energetic Picker/Packer/Loader to join our Bundaberg head office team. The role covers Dry Warehouse, Cold Room and Freezer areas, with no weekend work and a Monday–Friday schedule. A current Forklift Licence is required, and experience in picking/packing (paper-based or Voice Picking) is preferred.

Prior cold-room work is a plus. Responsibilities include accurate order picking, loading trucks, stock management, FIFO checks, HACCP logs, and maintaining

Aufgaben

• Pick & pack customer orders accurately using paper or Voice Picking headsets/RF scanners.
• Load trucks to ensure full and on-time deliveries.
• Assist with stock receipt and correct storage locations.
• Rotate stock, check use-by dates, and monitor stock levels.
• Complete temperature checks and HACCP logs.
• Maintain cleanliness and operate/deploy depot equipment.
• Communicate effectively with team and uphold WHS standards.

Warehouse / Cold Room / Freezer workers - Picker / Packer / Loader

Rum City Foods is a local, family owned and operated foodservice distributor with depots in Bundaberg, Maryborough, Gladstone and Rockhampton. Continued growth means we need more staff to join our team at our Head Office in Bundaberg.

We are looking for reliable, energetic and hardworking individuals to join our team, working as a Picker / Packer / Loader, across the areas of Dry Warehouse, Cold Room and Freezer. The positions are Full Time, working Monday to Friday - no weekend work.

Current Forklift Licence is a mandatory requirement. Immediate start available.

Your duties will include but aren't limited to:

Pick & pack customer orders accurately either paper-based or using Voice Picking headsets / scanners - Aim to achieve 100% accuracy KPIs

Load trucks in a timely manner to ensure all customers receive deliveries in full and on time whilst following the correct processes

Assist with managing incoming stock and ensure that stock is placed in the correct location

Assist with stock replenishment daily, rotate stock regularly and check Used by Dates constantly

Ensure stock receipt, temperature checks and Compliance HACCP logs are completed accurately and in a timely manner

Cleaning, operating and maintaining equipment / depot

Handle products with due care at all times

Maintain good communication and a good working relationship with all co-workers

Maintain HACCP & FSQ (Food Safety Quality) standards

Maintain WHS safe and healthy work practices

Ensure all company equipment and facilities are correctly maintained

Skills and experience:

Current Forklift Licence is a mandatory requirement

Ideally you will have picking/packing experience both paper-based and using Voice Picking headsets / RF scanners

Prior experience working in a Cold Room is an advantage

To be reliable

Possess a high level of accuracy with attention to detail

Candidates should be physically fit as there is repetitive manual lifting involved in performing this role

A good work ethic, who values honesty

Able to move quickly as our warehouse is fast paced
