Job summary

Concentric in Victoria is seeking a casual Physiotherapist to join our allied health team in Grovedale, Ocean Grove and Leopold. The role focuses on comprehensive assessments, tailored treatment plans, and evidence-based interventions to improve client outcomes and quality of life.

You will work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, with mentoring, professional development and flexible scheduling to balance work and life commitments.

Qualifications

• Must hold Degree in Physiotherapy and be registered with AHPRA.
• Current Australian driver’s licence is required.
• Excellent communication and assessment skills with clients and families.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify functional abilities and goals.
• Develop individualised, evidence-based treatment plans to maximise independence.
• Deliver individual and group physiotherapy sessions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create person-centred care plans.
• Maintain accurate client records and stay updated with best practices.

About Your New Role

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals to identify their functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop individualised treatment plans and intervention strategies to maximise independence, functional capacity, and quality of life.
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
• Collaborate with clients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to develop person-centred care plans and ensure holistic support.
• Communicate effectively with Stakeholders
• Deliver individual and group therapy sessions to enhance daily living skills, cognitive abilities, mobility, and self-care.
• Provide education and support to clients, caregivers, and support workers to enhance their understanding of physiotherapy interventions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
• Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and regulatory changes.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• A Degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
• Current AHPRA registration
• Valid Australian driver’s licence
