Uniting AgeWell delivers centre-based and home-based physiotherapy services to older adults in the North Melbourne metro region, with funding from SAH and CHSP. The role focuses on strengths-based, client-centered care, promoting independence and quality of life.

• Must hold a recognised physiotherapy degree.

About the role:

You will deliver centre‑based and home‑based physiotherapy services in the North Melbourne metro region for clients aged 65+ accessing services through a number of different funding streams, including Support at Home (SAH) and CHSP. The role focuses on strengths‑based, goal‑directed interventions that support independence. Travel requirements may vary based on service demand and client need across the region.

This is an ongoing permanent position. Full‑time or flexible FTE options are available, including family‑friendly hours and varied working days.

You will receive regular one‑to‑one supervision from the Practice Lead and be supported by a team of physiotherapists, the Allied Health scheduling team, the Operations Manager, and local on‑site staff.

You are a passionate and motivated physiotherapist with excellent clinical skills, committed to continuous learning and delivering best practice. You want to make a difference in the lives of older adults by enhancing their self-esteem, empowering them to make choices, and achieving exceptional outcomes. You are interested in a full‑time opportunity or working 4 days per week.

• Recognised tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
• Current registration with AHPRA
• Experience in Community Aged Care with HCP/SAH clients
• Knowledge of practice with clients aged 65+
• Ability to manage an individual caseload independently
• Have full Australian working rights and are able to pass a national police clearance
• Have a valid driver's license and access to a car
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team

Essentials for working in Aged Care:

• A current Working With Children Check card / Vulnerable People card.
• Current and ongoing flu vaccinations.
• Australian working rights.
• Ability to pass a national police clearance and NDIS Clearance.
