Job summary

Plena Healthcare is seeking a Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Residential Aged Care. The role involves delivering personalised, evidence-based therapy programs, including mobility and functional activities, and performing care plan reviews alongside group-based active ageing services.

This casual position (3–4 days per week) offers mentorship, flexible arrangements, and opportunities for professional development within a supportive allied health team.

Qualifications

• General AHPRA registration (required).
• Current Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• Current driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
• Willingness to work in a mobile capacity within a dedicated region.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised, evidence-based therapy programs in Residential Aged Care.
• Include mobility and functional programs in care plans.
• Conduct care plan reviews and one-to-one interventions.
• Provide group-based active ageing services in the community.

Our multidisciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Podiatrists, Speech Pathologists, Dietitians, and Allied Health Assistants (AHAs) is passionate about improving client outcomes.

This Physiotherapist role focuses on Residential Aged Care, working alongside a multidisciplinary team to deliver personalised, evidence-based therapy programs, including mobility and functional programs, care plan reviews, one-to-one interventions, and group-based active ageing services.

Plena is excited to be continuing to grow in the community aged care space and is glad to offer a diverse role that allows clinicians to work across RAC and Community settings.

This is a casual position (3-4 days a week) servicing Residential Aged Care homes between Belair and McLaren Vale.
