Job summary

TLC Healthcare is seeking a passionate Physiotherapist to join our Residential Aged Care Facility and TLC Primary Care clinic in the Geelong region (Armstrong Creek, Belmont, Wallington). The role is full-time with on-site facilities including gymnasiums and a hydrotherapy pool.

You will conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, prescribe exercises and formulate care plans, manage pain, and liaise with residents, families, community patients, nursing and medical practitioners, and equipment

Qualifications

• Registered physiotherapist with current AHPRA registration.
• NDIS check (including police clearance).
• Full Australian working rights.
• Driver’s licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Comprehensive clinical assessments of a wide variety of patients.
• Exercise prescription and formulation of care plans.
• Pain management.
• Correspondence with residents, families, community patients, nursing and medical practitioners and equipment suppliers.
• Falls review and falls prevention management.
• Private practice in onsite medical hub.

The Role

You will be a dedicated yet easy going team player with a passion for improving the quality of life of those in your care. Your duties will include:

• Private Practice in our onsite medical hub

Fully equipped state-of-the-art gymnasiums and hydrotherapy pool are also available on site to assist you in treating and creating programs for your patients.

Qualifications/ Requirements

• A genuine passion for caring for a diverse client base including elderly residents
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
• A Physiotherapy qualification with current full registration with AHPRA
• A valid current driver’s licence and own vehicle
• NDIS Check (including police clearance)
• Full Australian working rights
