Job summary

Serco is seeking a Physiotherapist to join Enoggera Health Centre, supporting Australian Defence Force personnel with evidence-based care. The role focuses on rehabilitation, functional recovery, and coordination within a multidisciplinary team.

The position is permanent part-time (Thursdays and Fridays, 7:00 am–4:30 pm) located at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane, offering a civilian role within a military health setting.

Qualifications

• Post-graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years.
• Current, unconditional AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist.
• Recent engagement in CPD activities aligned with guidelines.
• Current CPR certificate HLTAID009.
• Membership with Australian Physiotherapy Association is preferred.
• Australian Citizenship required for Baseline Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based physiotherapy assessments, treatments and rehabilitation.
• Manage a range of musculoskeletal injuries with functional rehabilitation goals.
• Coordinate patient administration, records and clinic operations.
• Support multidisciplinary teams for efficient service delivery.

About The Enoggera Health Centre

Enoggera Health Centre is located at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane, and provides support to Gallipoli, Victoria, Bulimba, and Damascus Barracks. Established in 1908, this modern military base currently spans 600 hectares with approximately 8000 members. The largest base in South Queensland, it incorporates the Deployable Joint Force Headquarters, a major manoeuvre formation, local support facilities and a range of training facilities. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, surgical outpatient, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical services. This facility operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The standard operating hours of the centre are generally 0700-1630 Monday – Friday

What You’lldo

• Provide a range of evidence-based physiotherapy assessments, treatments and rehabilitative services
• Work with a wide range of musculoskeletal injuries with a focus on functional rehabilitation and returning members to their work and exercise goals.
• Coordinate patient administration, records, and clinic operations
• Support multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient service delivery
• Ensure compliance with Defence policies, procedures, and confidentiality standardsShape

What You Bring

• At least 2 years’ part-time or full-time equivalent post-graduate musculoskeletal experience within the last 5 years
• A current, unconditional registration as a Physiotherapist with AHPRA
• Recent engagement in Continuing Professional Development activities aligned with AHPRA guidelines
• A current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate (HLTAID009)
• Membership with the Australian Physiotherapy Association (preferred)
• Australian Citizenship required for Baseline Security Clearance
