Job summary

Serco is seeking an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse to join Enoggera Health Centre at Gallipoli Barracks, Brisbane, in a permanent part-time capacity (three days per week: Tue–Thu). You will support Defence personnel with outpatient care and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of care.

The role requires unconditional AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2), at least two years post‑registration experience, CPR certification, and an endorsement to administer

Qualifications

• Current unconditional AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2).
• Minimum two years’ post‑registration nursing experience in acute care or primary healthcare within the last five years.
• Medication endorsement (if applicable to role requirements).
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009).
• Australian Citizenship required (baseline security clearance).
• Commitment to CPD and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to Defence personnel under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Provide outpatient care and support inpatient care where required within a health centre or hospital setting.
• Administer medications (where endorsed) in line with legislative requirements and protocols.
• Assist with patient assessments, treatment plans and health promotion activities.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient and high‑quality care.

About Enoggera Health Centre

Enoggera Health Centre, located at Gallipoli Barracks in Brisbane, is the primary base for this position and supports nearby facilities including Victoria, Bulimba, and Damascus Barracks. Established in 1908, Gallipoli Barracks is the largest military base in South Queensland, home to approximately 8,000 members and the Deployable Joint Force Headquarters.
