Job summary

Star Discount Chemist Rockhampton is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant for a full-time role. You’ll deliver exceptional customer care, advise on health and beauty products, assist with prescription submissions, and support invoicing, stock accuracy, and POS operations in a busy retail pharmacy environment.

Previous pharmacy or retail experience is preferred. Training is provided, and a friendly, customer-first attitude is essential for success in this team.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service within pharmacy or retail environments.
• Cash handling and POS operation experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and assist customers with health and beauty products.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service and expert advice on health and beauty products.
• Assist customers with prescription submissions to pharmacists.
• Invoicing and stocktaking.
• Operate the point of sale and manage cash handling.
• Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Promote current sales and product offerings to customers.
