Star Discount Chemist Rockhampton is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant for a full-time role. You’ll deliver exceptional customer care, advise on health and beauty products, assist with prescription submissions, and support invoicing, stock accuracy, and POS operations in a busy retail pharmacy environment.

Previous pharmacy or retail experience is preferred. Training is provided, and a friendly, customer-first attitude is essential for success in this team.

The Role

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of our team, helping us deliver exceptional customer care. In this role, you’ll:

Provide outstanding customer service and expert advice on health and beauty products.

Assist customers with prescription submissions to our pharmacists.

Invoicing and stocktaking

Operate the point of sale and manage cash handling.

Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and welcoming.

Promote current sales and product offerings to customers.

Bonus Points If You Have:

A Certificate in Community Pharmacy (I-IV).

Experience with MINFOS or FRED dispensing systems.
