Job summary

Star Pharmacy Group in Rockhampton is seeking a friendly Pharmacy Assistant for a full-time position. You’ll deliver outstanding customer service, offer expert health and beauty advice, and support pharmacists with prescriptions and stock control.

You’ll operate the till, handle cash securely, and help maintain a welcoming store environment. Previous pharmacy or retail experience is welcome, with bonus points for MINFOS or FRED users.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pharmacy or retail (preferred but not essential).
• A friendly and engaging personality with a passion for customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional presentation and a customer-first attitude.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

The Role

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you’ll be a vital part of our team, helping us deliver exceptional customer care. In this role, you’ll:

Provide outstanding customer service and expert advice on health and beauty products.

Assist customers with prescription submissions to our pharmacists.

Invoicing and stocktaking

Operate the point of sale and manage cash handling.

Ensure the store remains clean, organized, and welcoming.

Promote current sales and product offerings to customers.
