Job summary

Petbarn is seeking an experienced Pet Stylist for our North Parramatta salon, full-time or part-time. You will clip and scissor across all breeds, train others, and drive quality grooming with a focus on client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year professional grooming experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services confidently across breeds.
• Support training and development of other staff.
• Handle consultations, quotes, bookings, and invoicing.
• Manage day-to-day salon operations and ordering.
• Contribute to team-based grooming targets.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pet Stylist to join our North Parramattasalon on a full-time or part-time basis.

As an Experienced Pet Stylist, you must be confident clipping and scissoring across all breeds without supervision, while also supporting the training and development of others.

What we’re looking for

• At least 1 year of professional grooming experience
• The ability to complete all grooming services confidently and without supervision
• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques, equipment, and breed and coat types
• Confidence managing consultations, quotes, bookings, invoicing, ordering, and other day-to-day operational tasks
• The ability to support salon operations and contribute to effective team management
• The ability to complete 4–6 grooming services per day

As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to complete a two-hour grooming trial.
