Job summary

Petbarn Noosa salon is seeking an experienced Pet Stylist to join our team on a full-time or part-time basis. You will clip and groom across breeds with confidence and without supervision, while supporting team training and development in a modern, well-equipped salon.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional grooming experience.
• Able to clip and scissor across all breeds confidently and without supervision.
• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques, equipment, and breed/coat types.
• Confidently handling consultations, quotes, bookings, invoicing and day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Clip and groom dogs across breeds without supervision.
• Support salon operations and contribute to effective team management.
• Assist in consultations, quotes, bookings, invoicing and ordering.
• Contribute to the training and development of others.
• Complete 4–6 grooming services per day.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pet Stylist to join our Noosa salon on a full-time or part-time basis. We are flexible!

As an Experienced Pet Stylist, you must be confident clipping and scissoring across all breeds without supervision, while also supporting the training and development of others.

What we’re looking for

At least 1 year of professional grooming experience

The ability to complete all grooming services confidently and without supervision

Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques, equipment, and breed and coat types

Confidence managing consultations, quotes, bookings, invoicing, ordering, and other day-to-day operational tasks

The ability to support salon operations and contribute to effective team management

The ability to complete 4–6 grooming services per day

As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to complete a two-hour grooming trial.
