Job summary

Petbarn in Caringbah is seeking an experienced Pet Stylist to join our salon on a full-time or part-time basis. You’ll maximise earning potential through our bonus grooming incentive program and confidently clip and scissor across breeds without supervision while supporting the training of others.

This role offers a modern, air-conditioned salon, uniform and equipment provided, a guaranteed income 52 weeks a year, and the chance to formalise your hands-on grooming with a Certificate III

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional grooming experience.
• Ability to complete grooming services confidently without supervision.
• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques, equipment and breed/coat types.
• Confidence managing consultations, quotes, bookings, invoicing, and ordering.

Responsibilities

• Perform clipping and scissoring across breeds with precision.
• Support salon operations and contribute to effective team management.
• Take owner consultations, prepare quotes and manage bookings/invoicing.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, safety and customer service.
• Complete 4–6 grooming services per day.
• Participate in ongoing training and grooming development.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pet Stylist to join our Caringbah salon on a full-time or part-time basis.

As an Experienced Pet Stylist, you must be confident clipping and scissoring across all breeds without supervision, while also supporting the training and development of others.

What we’re looking for

• Confidence managing consultations, quotes, bookings, invoicing, ordering, and other day-to-day operational tasks
• The ability to support salon operations and contribute to effective team management
• The ability to complete 4–6 grooming services per day

As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to complete a two-hour grooming trial.
