Job summary

Petbarn in Minchinbury is seeking an experienced Pet Stylist for a full-time or part-time role. You’ll clip and scissor across breeds with minimal supervision and support the training of others.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional grooming experience.

• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques and equipment.
• Able to manage consultations, quotes, bookings, invoicing and other day-to-day tasks.

As an Experienced Pet Stylist, you must be confident clipping and scissoring across all breeds without supervision, while also supporting the training and development of others.

What we’re looking for

• At least 1 year of professional grooming experience
• The ability to complete all grooming services confidently and without supervision
• Advanced knowledge of grooming techniques, equipment, and breed and coat types
• Confidence managing consultations, quotes, bookings, invoicing, ordering, and other day‑to‑day operational tasks
• The ability to support salon operations and contribute to effective team management
• The ability to complete 4–6 grooming services per day

As part of the recruitment process, you will be asked to complete a two-hour grooming trial.
