Job summary

Western Power, a leading energy infrastructure company in Western Australia, seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of complex ICT and digital initiatives within the Digital Asset Management team.

You will own the full project lifecycle, manage budgets and governance, and report to senior stakeholders, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality while leveraging Enterprise Project and Portfolio Management tools to drive value across Capex and Opex.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading large, complex, multi-disciplinary projects and programs.
• 5-8 years' demonstrated success delivering high-value projects in IT, digital transformation, or asset-intensive industries.
• Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or related discipline with recognised credentials such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, RegPM, PMI-PMP.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills with ability to influence senior leaders across the organisation.
• Ability to navigate complexity, manage priorities, mitigate risk, and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
• Strong leadership capabilities across diverse teams and driving positive behavioural change.
• Highly developed financial acumen and ability to interpret financial reports for decision-making.
• Current Western Australian Class C or C-A Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of complex projects with scope, schedule, cost, quality, and safety outcomes.
• Manage projects with significant risks that may impact Western Power and stakeholders.
• Deliver projects within a portfolio of strategic technology initiatives supporting network assets.
• Execute projects per Western Power's PM Methodology, governance, standards, and processes.
• Manage and report on budgets across Capital (Capex) and Operational (Opex).
• Apply commercial acumen to maximise value, mitigate risk, and align outcomes with strategy.
• Provide proactive status reports to senior leaders and stakeholders using EPPM tools.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, suppliers and delivery partners to achieve outcomes.
• Foster a high-performance environment through coaching and leadership.
