Job summary

Right at Home Central QLD is hiring Personal Care Workers in Yeppoon. The role focuses on delivering compassionate, personalised care to clients in their homes and community settings.

You will support daily living activities, provide companionship, and help maintain independence while adhering to Right at Home values. We offer competitive hourly pay of $45.79 plus kilometre reimbursement, access to learning platforms, and SCHADS Award entitlements.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Personal Care Worker is preferred.
• Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care (or equivalent) required.
• Driver's license and access to a vehicle are essential.
• Current police check and First Aid/CPR certification are required.
• Blue Card or working with children clearance where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks (bathing, grooming, showering, dressing).
• Provide personalised care based on each client’s needs and preferences.
• Support daily living activities at home and in the community.
• Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
• Transport clients to appointments and social outings.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Encourage independence and wellbeing.

• Availability Monday-Friday and alternating weekends
