Job summary

MACG is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our Melbourne team on a casual basis. You will support residents with daily living, personal care, and help maintain their independence and dignity in a warm, family‑focused environment.

Work alongside the care team, observe and report changes in health or wellbeing, maintain accurate care documentation, and follow infection control and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Australian aged care or equivalent required.
• Experience in aged care is desirable.
• Current Police Check and relevant screening requirements.
• Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

As a Personal Care Worker, you’ll play an important role in supporting our residents to live with dignity, independence and choice.

Working Alongside Our Experienced Care Team, You Will

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents
• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living
• Support residents to maintain their independence and wellbeing
• Build positive and meaningful relationships with residents and their families
• Observe and report changes in residents’ health, behaviour or wellbeing
• Maintain accurate care documentation
• Follow all relevant care, infection control and workplace health and safety requirements
• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and the wider care team
