Job summary

Grand Cedar Aged Care is seeking a passionate Personal Care Worker to join our casual team in Melbourne. You will help residents live with dignity, independence and choice, under the guidance of our care team.

You’ll provide person-centred care, assist with daily living activities, and support wellbeing while building meaningful relationships with residents and their families. This role offers ongoing training and a welcoming, family-focused workplace.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent.
• Previous experience in aged care is desirable.
• Current Police Check and relevant screening requirements.
• Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents.
• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living.
• Support residents to maintain their independence and wellbeing.
• Build positive and meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ health, behaviour or wellbeing.
• Maintain accurate care documentation.
• Follow all relevant care, infection control and workplace health and safety requirements.
• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and the wider care team.

We are looking for a passionate Personal Care Worker to join our team on a Casual basis.

About the Role

As a Personal Care Worker, you’ll play an important role in supporting our residents to live with dignity, independence and choice.

Working alongside our experienced care team, you will:

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents
• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living
• Support residents to maintain their independence and wellbeing
• Build positive and meaningful relationships with residents and their families
• Observe and report changes in residents’ health, behaviour or wellbeingMaintain accurate care documentation
