Zusammenfassung

Medical & Aged Care Group is seeking a compassionate Personal Care Worker to join our Melbourne team on a casual basis. You will support residents to live with dignity, independence and choice, delivering person-centred care alongside our experienced team.

We value respectful, reliable staff who communicate well and follow infection control and safety practices. You’ll have Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent and Australian working rights, with opportunities for ongoing training

Qualifikationen

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in aged care is desirable.
• Current Police Check and relevant screening requirements are necessary.

• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and the wider care team.

About the Role

As a Personal Care Worker, you’ll play an important role in supporting our residents to live with dignity, independence and choice.

Working alongside our experienced care team, you will:

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents
• Assist residents with personal care and activities of daily living
• Support residents to maintain their independence and wellbeing
• Build positive and meaningful relationships with residents and their families
• Observe and report changes in residents’ health, behaviour or wellbeing
• Maintain accurate care documentation
• Follow all relevant care, infection control and workplace health and safety requirements
• Work collaboratively with Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses and the wider care team
