Calvary St Joseph’s Retirement Community in Sandgate is seeking a Personal Care Worker for a permanent part-time role. You will support residents with daily living, deliver resident-centred care and work within an experienced aged care team to enhance wellbeing and comfort.

The role emphasises compassionate, respectful care, adherence to safety protocols and contributing to a supportive, mission-driven environment. Includes salary packaging benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care or Individual Support is essential.
• Current NDIS check or willingness to obtain is essential.
• Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal.
• Working knowledge of WHS and Infection Control.

About The Role

This is a rewarding, hands on role that will give you the opportunity to positively impact on the lives of our residents. Personal Care Workers work within the aged care team to promote the delivery of quality care to residents and their families, demonstrating competence in the provision of resident-centred care. Calvary St Joseph’s Retirement Community is home to 135 residents and offers a dementia secure unit, an ethno-specific unit, respite accommodation services and independent living. You will bring a caring, positive attitude with a focus on ensuring our Residents are at the centre of all you do!

What You Bring

• Certificate III Aged Care or Individual Support is essential
• Current NDIS check or willingness to obtain is essential
