Job summary

Calvary St Joseph’s Retirement Community in Sandgate is seeking a Personal Care Worker on a permanent part-time basis. You’ll support residents with daily living, promoting dignity and comfort within a compassionate aged care team.

You will bring Certificate III Aged Care or Individual Support, a current NDIS check or willingness to obtain one, strong communication, and knowledge of WHS and infection control. Join a mission-based organisation committed to quality resident care.

Qualifications

• Effective interpersonal communication; both written and verbal.

About the role

This is a rewarding, hands on role that will give you the opportunity to positively impact on the lives of our residents. Personal Care Workers work within the aged care team to promote the delivery of quality care to residents and their families, demonstrating competence in the provision of resident-centred care.

Calvary St Joseph’s Retirement Community is home to 135 residents and offers a dementia secure unit, an ethno-specific unit, respite accommodation services and independent living.

You will bring a caring, positive attitude with a focus on ensuring our Residents are at the centre of all you do!
