Job summary

Favoured Health Care Services in Sydney CBD is seeking experienced Personal Care Workers on a casual contractor basis to support NDIS participants and assist with daily living tasks across Croydon Park and other Sydney metro locations.

The role focuses on dignity, independence and wellbeing, with flexible scheduling and opportunities to pick up shifts that fit your lifestyle and commitments. Cat-friendly clients and travel reimbursements may apply.

Qualifications

• Cert III/IV in Individual Support or nursing qualifications are preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and a vehicle with insurance are required.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or WWCC is mandatory.
• Police Check and NDIS Worker Screening as part of onboarding.
• Current First Aid and CPR certifications.
• At least 2 years of personal care experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily care of clients.
• Perform housekeeping tasks including cleaning, food prep and shopping.
• Monitor or administer some medications as directed.
• Train clients to care for themselves and educate family members.
• Participate in case reviews to determine client needs.
• Improve client wellbeing and independence.
• Meal preparation and medication prompts.
• Support community access, transport and social activities.
• Provide light domestic assistance and companionship.

We are looking for an experienced and exceptional Personal Care Workeron acasual basis to join our team at Favoured Healthcare Services

Location: Croydon Park and Various locations across Sydney metro and surrounding areas

Immediate start with 2 hours a week able to take 1 client in Croydon Park on Monday or Tuesday or Wednesday for cleaning services in the morning and isn’t afraid of cats (client has 1), non cleaning positions will be offered in the future

Travel Reimbursement: $0.60/km

Essential Skills and Qualifications(beneficial but not necessary)

• Cert III or IV in Individual Support (or equivalent) or nursing qualifications
• Valid driver’s licence + vehicle with insurance
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or WWCC
• Police Check / NDIS Worker Screening
• Current First Aid & CPR
• 2 years of Personal Care experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities
