Job summary

Bolton Clarke Group is seeking a Personal Care Worker for Buderim Views on the Sunshine Coast. You will provide comprehensive personal care, support residents’ independence, assist with mobility and daily activities, and complete documentation to ensure high-quality, compassionate care.

Opportunities exist to progress into nursing or leadership roles. The role requires Cert III in Individual Support & Ageing, with priority given to those with Aged Care experience.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing or equivalent is required.
• Experience in Aged Care is highly regarded.
• Valid working rights in Australia (passport, birth certificate, etc.).
• Prior to commencement - National Police Check and/or NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, safe, and timely personal care for residents.

The Role

As a Personal Care Worker you’ll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices. The key focus of the role will be to:

• To provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.
• Support and care for residents as they age and assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, self‑determination and comfort.
• Assist the resident with self‑care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.
• Join a caring community with opportunities to progress your career in nursing or leadership.
• Ensuring an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents.

Requirements

• Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing (or equivalent)
• Experience in Aged Care highly regarded
