Job summary

Bolton Clarke Residential group is seeking a Personal Care Worker to support residents at our Coastal Waters Aged Care Home near Jervis Bay, NSW. You will provide high-quality personal care, assist with daily living activities and ensure safe mobility and accurate documentation, contributing to residents’ independence and comfort.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing (or equivalent) is required.
• Experience in Aged Care highly regarded.
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc).
• Prior to commencement – complete a National Police Check and/or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality personal care to residents, focused on wellbeing and independence.
• Assist with activities of daily living and safe mobility and transfers.
• Complete documentation accurately and promptly.
• Support residents to maintain dignity, self-determination and comfort.
• Contribute to a consumer-focused care and service delivery across residents.

The Role

As aPersonal Care Workeryou’ll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices. The key focus of the role will be to provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents. Support and care for residents as they age and assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, self-determination and comfort. Assist the resident with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation. Join a caring community with opportunities to progress your career in nursing or leadership.
