Job summary

Quirindi Care Services in Quirindi, NSW, is seeking a Personal Care Worker to deliver a person-centred approach, supporting residents with daily needs and emotional wellbeing to help them live their best lives.

Role involves personal care, mobility support, meal assistance, and skin care under an agreed Care Plan; requires Cert III in Aged Care (or studying), NDIS clearance, and Australian work rights. Competitive pay with penalties, super, and leave loading are included.

Qualifications

• Minimum Cert III in Aged Care or equivalent (or currently studying).
• NDIS Worker Clearance – mandatory.
• Valid working rights in Australia – mandatory.
• Experience in providing personal care in an aged care setting.
• A passion for delivering a person-centred approach to care.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• An understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards.
• Compassionate and empathetic nature.

Responsibilities

• Care and services are delivered in accordance with the agreed Care Plan.
• Personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral and dental care and continence care.
• Mobility, including using aids and falls prevention.
• Eating and drinking, including awareness of special dietary requirements.
• Basic skin care including repositioning and application of skin creams.
