Job summary

Bolton Clarke is seeking a Personal Care Worker to support residents at the Rowes Bay site in Townsville. You will provide high-quality personal care, assist with daily living activities, and help residents maintain independence with dignity and comfort.

Successful applicants will have Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing (or equivalent), experience in aged care, valid Australian working rights, and readiness to obtain police/NDIS checks.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing (or equivalent).
• Experience in Aged Care highly regarded.
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc).
• Prior to commencement - complete a National Police Check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, safe, and timely personal care; assist with daily living activities according to residents’ needs.
• Support residents to age with independence, dignity, and comfort.
• Assist residents with self-care, mobility, transfers, and complete documentation.
• Join a caring community with opportunities to progress in nursing or leadership.
• Ensure consumer-focused care and service delivery for all residents.

The Role

As aPersonal Care Workeryou’ll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices.

The key focus of the role will be to:

• To provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.
• Support and care for residents as they age and assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, self-determination and comfort.
• Assist the resident with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.
• Join a caring community with opportunities to progress your career in nursing or leadership.
• Ensuring an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents.

To be successful, you will have

• Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing (or equivalent)
