Bolton Clarke Group is a leading not-for-profit provider of home care, retirement living and aged care in Australia. The Sandbrook facility on the Gold Coast offers 109 beds in a welcoming community near beaches and shops.

The Personal Care Worker role focuses on high-quality care, assisting residents with daily living, mobility and personal tasks, while supporting independence and dignity. Training and progression opportunities are available within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing (or equivalent).
• Experience in Aged Care highly regarded.
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc).
• Prior to commencement - complete a National Police Check and or a NDIS Workers Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• To provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.
• Support and care for residents as they age and assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, self-determination and comfort.
• Assist the resident with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.

The Role

As a Personal Care Worker you’ll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices.
