Job summary

Bolton Clarke Group is seeking a Personal Care Worker to support residents with daily living, wellbeing and activities centered on independence. You will deliver high quality, safe personal care and assist with mobility and daily tasks in a not-for-profit aged care setting.

You will need a Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing or equivalent, and valid Australian working rights. Prior to starting, a National Police Check or NDIS Worker Check may be required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support & Ageing (or equivalent).
• Experience in Aged Care highly regarded.
• Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc).
• Prior to commencement - complete a National Police Check and/or a NDIS Worker Check (or willingness to obtain)

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.
• Support and care for residents as they age and assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, self-determination and comfort.
• Assist the resident with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.
• Join a caring community with opportunities to progress your career in nursing or leadership.
• Ensuring an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents.

The Role

As aPersonal Care Workeryou’ll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices.
