Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is welcoming new Casual Personal Care Worker roles at Heritage Manor in Morwell. You’ll provide hands-on personal care, guided by each resident’s care plan, with shifts across mornings, weekdays and weekends.

Join a team focused on the person in front of them, build meaningful connections, document outcomes, and participate in ongoing training. Certificate III in Aged Care and 12 months’ experience preferred; working rights in Australia required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months’ experience in a residential aged care facility.
• Genuine passion for caring for older people and wellbeing.
• Honest, reliable and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care per each resident’s care plan.
• Listen to residents to understand what matters most to them.
• Accurately record consumer outcomes in BaptistCare systems.
• Build respectful relationships with residents, families and stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the home.
• Report workplace and consumer risks to management promptly.
• Attend scheduled training to maintain skills and compliance.

THE ROLE

Working under the direction of a Residential Care and Services Manager, you’ll deliver hands‑on personal care that’s guided by each resident’s individual care plan.

Every day looks a little different, but the focus is always the same: the person in front of you.

• Deliver personal care in line with each resident’s care plan, supporting their goals and daily needs
• Listen to residents and take the time to understand what matters most to them
• Accurately record consumer outcomes in Baptistcare systems
• Build respectful relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the home
• Report workplace and consumer risks to management promptly and appropriately
• Attend scheduled training to maintain your skills and compliance

ABOUT YOU

You’re reliable, compassionate, and bring genuine energy to every shift.

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
• Minimum 12 months’ experience working in a residential aged care facility
• Genuine passion for caring for older people and supporting their wellbeing
• Honest, reliable, and attentive to detail
• Strong team player with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Flexible and positive — comfortable working across a variety of shifts
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Proof of working rights in Australia
• Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role
