BaptistCare Peninsular View in Frankston is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Personal Care Worker to join our team. You’ll deliver hands-on personal care to residents under an individualized care plan and contribute to their wellbeing.

The role offers a regular fortnightly roster across afternoon, night and morning shifts, including weekends, with competitive pay of AUD 36.82–39.94 per hour and salary packaging up to AUD 18,550.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent required.
• Minimum 12 months’ experience in a residential aged care facility.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

THE ROLE

Working under the direction of a Residential Care and Services Manager, you’ll deliver hands-on personal care that’s guided by each resident’s individual care plan.

Every day looks a little different, but the focus is always the same: the person in front of you.

• Deliver personal care in line with each resident’s care plan, supporting their goals and daily needs
• Listen to residents and take the time to understand what matters most to them
• Accurately record consumer outcomes in BaptistCare systems
• Build respectful relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the home
• Report workplace and consumer risks to management promptly and appropriately
• Attend scheduled training to maintain your skills and compliance

ABOUT YOU

You’re reliable, compassionate, and bring genuine energy to every shift.

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
• Minimum 12 months’ experience working in a residential aged care facility
• Genuine passion for caring for older people and supporting their wellbeing
• Honest, reliable, and attentive to detail
• Strong team player with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Flexible and positive — comfortable working across a variety of shifts
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Proof of working rights in Australia
• Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role
