Job summary

BaptistCare NSW/ACT - Aged Care – Norlane VIC is seeking casual Personal Care Workers to support residents at Coasthaven. Flexible shifts across mornings, afternoons and nights, weekdays and weekends, offering variety and meaningful connection with residents.

You will deliver hands-on personal care per care plans, document outcomes, and participate in training. Eligibility includes Certificate III in Individual Support, 12 months’ experience, and working rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months’ experience in residential aged care.
• National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
• Proof of working rights in Australia.
• Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care in line with each resident’s care plan, supporting goals and daily needs
• Listen to residents and understand what matters most to them
• Accurately record consumer outcomes in Baptistcare systems
• Build respectful relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the home
• Report workplace and consumer risks to management promptly
• Attend scheduled training to maintain skills and compliance

THE ROLE

Working under the direction of a Residential Care and Services Manager, you’ll deliver hands‑on personal care that’s guided by each resident’s individual care plan.

Every day looks a little different, but the focus is always the same: the person in front of you.

ABOUT YOU

You’re reliable, compassionate, and bring genuine energy to every shift.

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
• Minimum 12 months’ experience working in a residential aged care facility
• Genuine passion for caring for older people and supporting their wellbeing
• Honest, reliable, and attentive to detail
• Strong team player with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Flexible and positive — comfortable working across a variety of shifts
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Proof of working rights in Australia
• Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role
