Job summary

BaptistCare Peninsula View in Frankston is hiring a Part-Time Personal Care Worker to provide hands-on care to residents. You’ll work under the supervision of a Residential Care Manager, following individual care plans and supporting wellbeing in a compassionate, person-centred way.

This role offers a regular fortnightly roster across afternoon, night and morning shifts, weekdays and weekends, with ongoing training and development opportunities in a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months’ experience in a residential aged care facility.
• Genuine passion for caring for older people and wellbeing.
• Willingness to obtain National Police Check.
• Proof of working rights in Australia.
• Willingness to complete a medical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care in line with each resident’s care plan.
• Listen to residents and understand what matters most to them.
• Accurately record consumer outcomes in BaptistCare systems.
• Build respectful relationships with residents, families and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the home.
• Report workplace and consumer risks to management.
• Attend scheduled training to maintain skills and compliance.

At BaptistCare Peninsula View in Frankston, we’re welcoming new residents and looking for a compassionate and experienced Part-Time Personal Care Worker to join our team.
This position offers a regular fortnightly roster across afternoon, night and morning shifts, including weekdays and weekends, providing an opportunity to build meaningful relationships with residents while enjoying the stability of part-time employment.

THE ROLE

Working under the direction of a Residential Care and Services Manager, you’ll deliver hands-on personal care that’s guided by each resident’s individual care plan.

Every day looks a little different, but the focus is always the same: the person in front of you.

• Deliver personal care in line with each resident’s care plan, supporting their goals and daily needs
• Listen to residents and take the time to understand what matters most to them
• Accurately record consumer outcomes in BaptistCare systems
• Build respectful relationships with residents, families, and external stakeholders
• Contribute to continuous improvement across the home
• Report workplace and consumer risks to management promptly and appropriately
• Attend scheduled training to maintain your skills and compliance

ABOUT YOU

You’re reliable, compassionate, and bring genuine energy to every shift.

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent
• Minimum 12 months’ experience working in a residential aged care facility
• Genuine passion for caring for older people and supporting their wellbeing
• Honest, reliable, and attentive to detail
• Strong team player with the ability to maintain confidentiality
• Flexible and positive - comfortable working across a variety of shifts
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
• Proof of working rights in Australia
• Willingness to complete a medical assessment to confirm physical capability for the role
