Job summary

Bene Aged Care is seeking compassionate Personal Care Workers to join the St Pauls Residential Facility on a casual basis. You will provide daily personal care, assist with hygiene and mobility, and monitor wellbeing under care plans in a friendly, multicultural team in the Adelaide Hills.

The role offers flexibility, ongoing training, and salary packaging to boost take-home pay, while contributing to high-quality, dignified care for residents, including those living with dementia.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in IS Aged Care or equivalent.
• Understanding of aged care standards and person-centred care.
• Compassionate, respectful and dependable nature.
• Current National Police Check or willingness to obtain before commencement.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personal care and support with daily tasks.
• Assist residents with hygiene, mobility, and repositioning.
• Monitor health and wellbeing, reporting any changes to clinical staff.
• Follow individual care plans and maintain accurate documentation.
• Promote dignity, respect, and independence for each resident.

What You'll Bring

Essential

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification

• Current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)

Desirable

• Previous experience in a residential aged care setting
• Italian language skills (advantageous, though not essential)
