Job summary

Catholic Healthcare’s Bodington in Wentworth Falls is seeking Personal Care Assistants to join our warm community serving older residents. This permanent part-time role offers varied shifts and meaningful daily care in a welcoming, close-to-home setting.

You will provide personal care, assist with daily living activities, and contribute to care plans with our clinical team. We offer $38 per hour plus superannuation, salary packaging benefits, and access to discounts and leave entitlements.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent) is required.
• Recent experience as a PCA in Aged Care.
• Willingness to undergo Police Check and NDIS clearance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, proactive and team-oriented.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care including showering, dressing and grooming.
• Support residents with daily living activities, meals and social engagement.
• Build connections with residents and families to promote dignity and belonging.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to deliver personalised care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation and a safe environment.

Your Role Will Include:

• Providing compassionate personal care, including showering, dressing and grooming
• Supporting residents with daily living activities, meals and social engagement
• Getting to know residents and helping them feel comfortable, valued and connected
• Working closely with our clinical team to deliver personalised care plans
• Keeping accurate documentation and contributing to a safe and positive environment

What We’re Looking For:

• Certificate III in Aged Care (or equivalent)
• Recent experience as a PCA in Aged Care
• Experience or ability to assist with medication is an advantage
• A kind heart and genuine passion for supporting older people
• A caring, friendly and respectful approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Someone reliable, proactive and comfortable working as part of a team
• An understanding of workplace health and safety
• Willingness to undergo a Police Check and NDIS clearance
