Job summary

Catholic Healthcare in Wentworth Falls NSW is hiring casual Catering Assistants to deliver nutritious dining experiences for residents. Shifts 7:00am–2:00pm or 2:30pm–7:30pm, pay $33.20 per hour plus Super and not-for-profit salary packaging benefits.

You’ll assist with meal prep and service, maintain high safety standards, and work with a supportive team across NSW and QLD locations. A Certificate III in Hospitality is desirable; ND workers screening and Police checks may be required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is desirable, but not essential.
• Genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to older people.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Good knowledge of food safety, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene practices.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check, or willingness to obtain them.

About the role

As part of our Catering team, you’ll help deliver delicious meals and exceptional dining experiences while ensuring our residents feel supported, respected and cared for. Your responsibilities will include:

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for someone who combines a genuine care for people with a positive, can-do attitude. To be successful, you’ll have:

• Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cookery) is desirable, but not essential.
• A genuine passion for providing high-quality care and support to older people.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Good knowledge of food safety, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene practices.
• Warm, empathetic interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
• The ability to establish and maintain professional and respectful relationships with residents and their families.
• An NDIS Worker Screening Check and Police Check, or willingness to obtain them.
