Nurse Next Door Home Care Services seeks a compassionate Personal Care Assistant. You will play a vital role in supporting clients in daily activities and promoting their independence. This position offers flexible hours and opportunities for ongoing development within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Previous caregiving experience is an asset.
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Drivers with their own vehicle will be an asset.

About The Role

Making Lives Better and Happier Ageing are at the heart of what we do — enabling members of our ageing and disabled community to live a fulfilling life at home as long as possible, doing what they love to do.

We provide around-the-clock care, so visits may be scheduled early morning, afternoon, evening, or overnight to meet our client's needs.

Job Requirement

Responsibilities

• Provide a premium care experience to our clients that is genuine, compassionate and personalised
• Assist clients with activities of daily living including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, transport and companionship
• Deliver care in accordance with the client's care plan that has been developed by the Care Designer (Registered Nurse)
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly

• Ability to identify and report client care concerns to Care Designers when needed.
• Reliable way to get to and from the client's home.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum Cert III in either Aged care, Community, Individual Support or Disability, or extensive industry experience
• National Police Check (Aged Care/ Vulnerable Persons Sector)
• Working With Children Check
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Completion
• NDIS Clearance
