Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited is hiring Personal Care Assistants for Holy Spirit Croydon, NSW. This casual position requires availability for a minimum of 3 weekdays with shifts across morning, afternoon and night.

You will assist with personal care, support daily activities, follow care plans with the clinical team, maintain documentation, and provide high-quality service to residents and families. Requirements include a Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent), willingness to obtain Police

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent).
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.
• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality elderly care.
• Reliable team player with good communication.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing.
• Supporting day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities.
• Working with clinical team to ensure care plans are followed.
• Maintaining documentation and contributing to residents' health and wellbeing.
• Providing high quality service to families and the community.

We are looking for Personal Care Assistants to join our team at Holy Spirit Croydon. We offer a variety of shifts including morning, afternoon, and night shifts across the week. As part of a dedicated team who work hard to create a safe, home-like environment you’ll be responsible for:

• Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing
• Supporting day-to-day tasks such as eating and social activities
• Working with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed
• Maintaining documentation and working as part of a team to ensure our residents’ health and wellbeing are optimised
• Providing high quality service to families and the community

To be successful in this role you’ll need

• Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people
• A reliable team player
• Understanding of workplace health and safety
• A Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent)
