Job summary

Catholic Healthcare Limited in Mullumbimby, NSW, is hiring Personal Care Assistants for part-time, permanent roles. The position offers morning, afternoon and night shifts across the week, with a pay rate of $38/hour plus super and not-for-profit tax benefits.

You will assist residents with personal care, support daily activities, and work with the clinical team to follow care plans, while maintaining documentation and delivering quality service to families and the community.

Qualifications

• A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly.
• Comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people.
• Good communication skills.
• A reliable team player.
• Understanding of workplace health and safety.
• A Certificate 3 in Aged Care (or equivalent).
• Willingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care such as showering and dressing.
• Supporting day‑to‑day tasks such as eating and social activities.
• Working with clinical team members to ensure care plans are followed.
