Disability and Healthcare Support Pty Ltd (Support Foundation) is seeking dedicated Aged or Disabled Carers to provide in‑home and community support across Belmore and surrounding service areas, assisting clients with daily living activities, personal care, mobility, meals, and social participation.

You will work with clients in home-based settings, offering companionship, arranging outings, and supporting independence and quality of life.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate II or III in Individual Support or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in aged or disability care or home support.
• Ability to provide practical daily living assistance.
• Demonstrated ability to support clients with complex needs is highly regarded.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Accompanying aged and disabled persons during daily activities and outings.
• Assisting clients with mobility, including walking and transfers.
• Preparing meals and assisting with eating where required.
• Assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Performing household tasks including cleaning, laundry, and tidying.
• Arranging and supporting social activities and community participation.
• Providing companionship, friendship, and emotional support.

About the Role

We are seeking dedicated Aged or Disabled Carers to provide support to aged persons and individuals with disabilities in home and community settings. The role focuses on assisting clients with daily living activities, personal care, household tasks, and social support to maintain independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

Skills and Experience Required

• Relevant Certificate II or III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, or related field
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in aged care, disability care, or home support
• Ability to provide practical support with daily living activities
• Demonstrated experience supporting clients with complex needs (highly regarded)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a home or community setting

Mandatory Requirements

• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working With Children Check (if applicable)
• First Aid and CPR certification
• Valid driver licence and access to a vehicle
