Job summary

Special Care Australia Pty Ltd in Melbourne's south-east is seeking an experienced Aged or Disabled Carer to join our permanent full-time team. You will provide personal care, assist with mobility and daily living activities across Clyde, Cranbourne, Pakenham and Dingley Village.

We offer a competitive salary of AUD 80,000–82,000 per year plus superannuation, career progression and stable permanent employment in a supportive, high-quality care organisation.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or higher in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care or related field.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• First Aid and CPR.
• Current driver licence.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing, grooming and toileting.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and positioning.
• Support meal preparation and feeding assistance.
• Assist with medication administration.
• Monitor participant wellbeing and report changes.
• Assist participants with therapeutic, rehabilitation and independence-building programs.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and incident reports.
• Support community participation where required.
