Felicity Holistic Care Pty Ltd is seeking an Aged/Disability Carer to support clients in daily living, independence, and wellbeing. You will deliver personal care, mobility support, meal assistance, and follow personalised care plans in home settings within Melbourne and regional areas.

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate II or III or at least one year of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 4).
• Ability to work and communicate effectively within teams.
• Current full-time work rights in Australia.
• Ability to develop customised care plans for diverse needs.
• The ability to assist with everyday living tasks and provide personal care.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and maintaining a secure environment.
• Excellent time-management and organisational skills.
• Assist clients in building connections with friends, family and the community.
• Relevant qualifications in Disability Support or Aged Care preferred.

Your duties will involve helping clients with personal care, mobility, and meal preparation, while encouraging independence and respecting their dignity and preferences. Our care team works closely with each client to develop and follow personalised care plans that align with their physical, emotional, and social needs. This role requires compassion, adaptability, and a strong understanding of client safety and support practices.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Providing direct support and assistance to therapists

• Observing and reporting changes in patients' condition, and reporting complaints about care
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, family members, and support workers to ensure a holistic approach to care
• Check resident’s daily menu requirements
• Assist with medication reminders as per care plans
• Support residents with daily activities and encourage social engagement
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and the care team

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

• AQF Certificate II or III, or at least one year of relevant experience (ANZSCO Skill Level 4)
• Ability to work and communicate effectively within teams

• Knowledge of safety regulations and the capacity to adhere to them to maintain a secure and encouraging environment

• Assist clients in building and maintaining connections with friends, family, and the larger community
• Relevant qualifications in Disability Support, Aged Care, or a related field.

LOCATION Client’s own home within the geographic areas of Melbourne, Shepparton, Geelong, Ballarat, Daylesford.

WORKING HOURS Full-time position, 38 hours per week.
