Job summary

MANAWISE Care in Brisbane North, Queensland, is seeking an experienced Youth Worker to join our Residential Care team on a permanent Part Time basis, with 56 or 72 hours per fortnight. You’ll work across Narangba, Morayfield, Warner, North Lakes and Albany Creek to support young people.

You will help young people facing complex challenges by providing a safe, nurturing environment, building resilience and life skills, and collaborating with a therapeutic care team to deliver tailored plans.

Qualifications

• Experience in Youth Work or Child Safety, or related field.
• Current unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence (open class).
• First Aid & CPR certification and Blue Card.
• National Police Check within 6 months or readiness to obtain.

MANAWISE Care is growing in Brisbane North, Queensland and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our Residential Care team on a permanent Part Time basis, working 56 or 72 hours per fortnight.

About the Role

You will be working across our residential homes, currently located in Narangba, Morayfield, Warner, North Lakes and Albany Creek with exciting opportunities to support new homes as MANAWISE continues to grow and expand.

As a Youth Worker, you’ll support young people facing complex challenges by providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment. You’ll play a key role in helping them build resilience, develop life skills, and create brighter futures.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a safe, supportive, and structured home environment
• Build strong, positive relationships with young people
• Support emotional, social, and life skill development
• Encourage healthy decision-making and wellbeing
• Collaborate with a therapeutic care team to deliver tailored plans
• Complete daily documentation, case notes, and reports
• Experience in Youth Work, Child Safety, or a related field
• Current, unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence (open class)
• Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, or similar (or working towards it)
• First Aid & CPR certification
• Current Paid Blue Card
• National Police Check (within 6 months)
• Ability to obtain LCS check
• Hope & Healing Module certificate (we can assist if needed)
