MANAWISE Care in Brisbane North, Queensland is seeking an experienced Youth Worker to support young people in residential homes across Narangba, Morayfield, Warner, Ningi and Albany Creek. This permanent part-time role offers 56 or 72 hours per fortnight, with opportunities to contribute to growth as new homes open.

You will create a safe, nurturing environment, build trusted relationships, and collaborate with a therapeutic care team to deliver tailored plans.

Formación

• Experience in Youth Work, Child Safety, or related field.
• Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention or similar (or working toward it).
• First Aid & CPR certification.
• Current, paid Blue Card.
• National Police Check within 6 months.
• Ability to obtain LCS check.
• Hope & Healing Module certificate.

Are you an experienced Youth Worker looking for a meaningful role where you can truly make a difference?

MANAWISE Care is growing in Brisbane North, Queensland and we’re looking for passionate individuals to join our Residential Care team on a permanent Part Time basis, working 56 or 72 hours per fortnight.

About the Role

You will be working across our residential homes, currently located in Narangba, Morayfield, Warner, Ningi and Albany Creek with exciting opportunities to support new homes as MANAWISE continues to grow and expand.

As a Youth Worker, you’ll support young people facing complex challenges by providing a safe, stable, and nurturing environment. You’ll play a key role in helping them build resilience, develop life skills, and create brighter futures.

Key Responsibilities

• Create a safe, supportive, and structured home environment
• Build strong, positive relationships with young people
• Support emotional, social, and life skill development
• Encourage healthy decision-making and wellbeing
• Collaborate with a therapeutic care team to deliver tailored plans
• Complete daily documentation, case notes, and reports
• Experience in Youth Work, Child Safety, or a related field
• Current, unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence (open class)
• Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, or similar (or working towards it)
• First Aid & CPR certification
• Current Paid Blue Card
• National Police Check (within 6 months)
• Ability to obtain LCS check
• Hope & Healing Module certificate (we can assist if needed)
