Qualifications

• Experience in Youth Work, Child Safety, or a related field.
• Current, unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence (open class).
• Certificate IV in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, or similar (or enrolled).
• First Aid & CPR certification.
• Current Paid Blue Card.
• National Police Check (within 12 months).
• Ability to obtain LCS check.
• Hope & Healing Module certificate (we can assist if needed).

• Work collaboratively with the broader care team to implement individualised support plans.
• Maintain accurate and professional documentation, including case notes and incident reports.
• Model positive behaviours, healthy boundaries, and effective communication always.
• Contribute to a strong team culture through teamwork, reflection, and ongoing learning.

About the Role

You will provide support within our established and brand-new residential homes, helping create a safe, stable, and nurturing environment for young people with complex needs.

As a Youth Worker, you'll play an important role in supporting young people to overcome challenges, build resilience, develop life skills, and achieve positive outcomes.
