Job summary

Cumberland City Council in Wentworthville NSW is hiring a Pool Lifeguard to protect patrons and maintain high standards at our aquatic centres. You will work under the Aquatic Operations Supervisor to deliver safe, friendly and welcoming service while keeping facilities clean and well presented.

The role is permanent full-time with a 70-hour fortnight, access to RDOs, and travel across council sites. You must hold WWCC, a current Pool Lifeguard Licence, HLTAID011 First Aid, HLTAID009 CPR, and

Qualifications

• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
• Current Pool Lifeguard Licence
• Current HLTAID011 Provide First Aid Certificate
• Current HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Certificate
• High level of interpersonal and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the Aquatic Operations Supervisor to provide Patrons and hirers at Cumberland City Council Aquatic Centres with high-quality customer service and a clean, safe, friendly and well-presented facility.
• Supervise and evaluate Councils aquatic facilities to ensure safety, quality and professional operation that exceeds industry standards.
