Job summary

Mackay Sugar in Mackay, QLD, invites a permanent full-time Rail Track Maintenance worker to join the Track Maintenance Team. Reporting to the Cane Railway Supervisor, you will contribute to safety, quality and productivity targets and build strong working relationships with team members.

Candidates will hold a Queensland MR licence, White Card, and ideally railway track maintenance experience, plus basic oxy/acetylene cutting and welding, and operating backhoes or loaders.

Qualifications

• Queensland MR licence required or higher.
• General Construction Induction (White Card) is required.
• Desirable: railway track maintenance experience and related licences.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair railway track to achieve safety, quality and productivity targets.
• Report to the Cane Railway Supervisor and work with the Track Maintenance Team to develop relationships.
