Job summary

GFR Industries, Acacia Ridge, Brisbane, is hiring an Internal Sales Representative to support customers via phone, email and front-counter. You will identify needs, quote prices, process orders and coordinate with warehouse and freight teams to meet customer delivery expectations.

Ideally you have experience in sales or customer service, and a mechanical mindset to learn our transport hydraulic product range.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in sales, internal sales, customer service or a trade-counter environment.
• Strong telephone and face-to-face communication skills.
• Professional and customer-focused approach.
• Good computer skills and ability to learn inventory and sales systems.
• Strong attention to detail when preparing quotations and processing orders.
• Practical or mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to understand customer requirements and learn a technical product range.
• Current open Australian driver’s licence.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a small team.
• Ability to commute to Acacia Ridge for an 8:00 am start.

Responsibilities

• Responding to telephone, email and trade-counter enquiries.
• Identifying customer requirements and recommending suitable products.
• Providing product information and general technical sales support.
• Preparing quotations and processing customer orders.
• Checking product availability, pricing and delivery times.
• Following up customer enquiries, quotations and outstanding orders.
• Maintaining strong relationships with existing customers.
• Assisting with development of new customer relationships.
• Liaising with warehouse staff, suppliers and freight providers.
• Maintaining accurate customer, order and product information.
• Supporting the Sales Manager and wider team as required.
